Our company has had your product on several trials for
almost 3 months now. The products has performed as the literature has stated. In fact it is the only product that I know of that is completely revolutionary. It is not very often that something promises great things
and delivers the same.
The DTEA products was used on a 4-week trial. The test was controlled. By
tis, I mean we selected the sites based on our experience with them.
We also knew of the difficulty in controlling algae and slime. Attached you will find the test results from the trial. These attached results are exactly as recorded during the trial.
System Descriptions:
- IBEW: 400 ton Marley cooling tower. Concrete basin that is below ground. Tower facing West
- Spring ISD: 1300 ton Marley cooling tower. Tower facing West. Roof construction during test.
- Mischer: 500 ton cooling tower. Tower facing South. Problems with black slime.
- Reed Tool: 2200 ton Marley cooling tower. Tower facing West. Oil leak. Black slime.
Just last week, I was trying DTEA at a plastics plant for control of slime in a reclamation pit. The product was accidentally poured into the clean water tank. This in turn ended up in the main cooling system. The
maintenance supervisor made comments about a noticeable improvement in the heat transfer in that system. While we did not doubt your product, we were not aware of the problems in this system. The
customer now wants DTEA as part of the routine maintenance program.
Thank you for developing such a promising product. It shows great potential in our industry.
