Please note: wherever there is water, there is organic fouling to one degree or another, and ATP is very effective to give a real-time measurement which is an index. The rate of increase or decrease of this measurement as a function of system conditions is a powerful and general measurement which can be used to show when conditions have changed and there is an increased or decreased fouling condition.
