Present Opportunity:
Full Time Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator position with a 6 month probationary period.
Pay & Benefits:
Starting pay for this position is $11-$14/hour ($22,880 - $29,120/year) depending on experience. Health and other benefits provided (bonus programs, special recognition awards)
Bonus plans are offered based on documented performance.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Full Time Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator. This person is the first point of contact for the company and therefore must have very professional communication skills. This can be a stressful position at times, so this individual must be flexible and able to respond to needs as they change throughout the day. This position also requires an above-average level of attention to detail. The individual must be able to check paperwork thoroughly and catch any errors. Main responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Order processing:
Processing, packaging and tracking orders, including working with freight companies to ensure best pricing, ability to process small packages and place them into bins with packages weighing 5-50 lbs, resolving shipment problems, learning and understanding shipping laws and regulations relevant to the company, learning shipping procedures, MSDS requirements and select regulations as they apply to the job.
Administrative:
Handling incoming phone calls, directing the caller to staff or taking care of the caller’s needs requisite with the candidate’s training level, forwarding messages, maintaining the office area and office equipment, printing and assembling company literature, using the company database, sorting and sending email, mailing materials, writing letters.
Customer service:
Being sensitive to customer relationships, fulfilling customer requests, completing customer follow up calls, conducting customer surveys, sending quotes, sending customers literature, responding to sales inquiries
Preferred Experience:
Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar role. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) above that of the average computer user. It is preferred that applicant has had some experience using Contact Relationship Management (CRM) software and databases. Familiarity with ACT! 6.0 is not required but would be an asset.
Skill Testing:
Tests will focus on software knowledge (such as Microsoft Word and Excel) and other skills that are needed for the job such as following instructions, multitasking, verbal reasoning, etc. Candidates who progress to the testing phase will also be given some hands-on tests.
Candidacy Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills above the average computer user
- Must conform to a non-smoking environment in the office and on associated properties
- This job requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to work paid overtime if necessary
- Flexible and willing/able to learn independently
- Able to take direction, but also be able to be self-directed at times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be an effective listener and willing to learn
- Able to work well under pressure and multi-task efficiently
- Experience in processing orders and providing administrative support
- Able to follow procedures closely, pay close attention to detail and double-check work regularly
- Self-disciplined and have a high level of personal maturity
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent written English, composition, spelling and grammar skills
- Must have personal vehicle and valid drivers license
- Willing to agree to random drug testing
- Willing to perform small office duties, such as maintenance of printers, fax machines, routine updating of workstations, keeping work area clean
- It will be mandatory to learn technical computer skills quickly and efficiently as needed
