DTEA II (15% active) is recommended for use in cooling and process waters which contain ammonia, hydrogen sulfide (sour gas), and nucleophiles

  • general cleanout (100 ppm product; 15 ppm active) of organic deposits and film
  • a general maintenance chemical (30-100 ppm product; 5-15 ppm active) to reduce the use levels of biocide and to reduce the 'demand' on oxidizing biocides

The uses of DTEA II are as:

  • a general organic deposit and film removal agent
  • a general organic deposit control agent
  • corrosion inhibitor supplement to reduce the use of corrosion inhibitors
  • to reduce the levels of biocide needed
  • to reduce the 'demand' on oxidizing biocides
